The Volunteers In Medicine Clinic (of Lane County) provides high quality medical and health services for workers who cannot afford health care or who cannot qualify for government assistance. VIM provides the facilities, organizational structure, and management, so that volunteering medical professionals can conveniently provide medical services in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment.

Company History

The clinic opened its doors in February 2001 and provides medical services to eligible individuals in the Lane County area. It is located in the Eugene-Springfield area which offers an abundance of health, fitness, recreational, outdoor and cultural activities, and is proudly lacking in traffic jams and air pollution. Known as Track Town USA the area is home to the University of Oregon with its nationally ranked sports teams and internationally renowned Oregon Bach Festival. The Oregon Coast and its sweeping dunes, dramatic rocky shoreline vistas, and uncrowded beaches lie about an hour's drive to the west. Alpine ski areas in the Oregon Cascade Mountains are an hour's drive to the east.
